DANGER JONES - Semi-Permanent Color - Burnout Orange 118ml
Naming Danger Jones shades is one of the team's favorite jobs. How many brands get to throw around names like “Sweet & Sour” or “Whiskey Night” on any given Tuesday. But when it came down to the right name for Danger Jones Orange, we found ourselves drawn to the lyric, “It's better to burn out than fade away” courtesy of the great Neil Young.

FAQs
- HOW LONG CAN I EXPECT MY CLIENT'S SEMI-PERMANENT HAIR COLOR TO LAST? Danger Jones colors will fade over time, with the deeper shades lasting up to 40 washes and lighter colors up to 25 washes. The best part about that fade is that it stays true-to-tone all along the way.
- HOW CAN I EXTEND THE LIFE OF MY CLIENT'S HAIR COLOR? To extend the life of your client's color, recommend shampooing no more than twice a week using cold water and color safe shampoo and conditioner. Shampoo scalp/roots only and let the shampoo rinse over the rest of the hair. Dry shampoo is also recommended between washes. Avoid using hot water, chlorine pools/hot tubs, ocean/lake water, and direct sunlight for extended periods of time. If well water is used, a shower filter will also prevent any mineral deposits in hair which can alter the color.
- DO I NEED TO PRE-LIGHTEN HAIR TO APPLY DANGER JONES COLORS? For the most vibrant color results, Danger Jones recommends pre-lightening (bleaching) the hair before applying our semi-permanent colors. Use the color chart on the back of the packaging to help you decide how light to bleach for maximum vibrancy and what colors look best on different hair color levels. Be sure to fully shampoo and rinse out all the bleach. Any residue left in the hair will compromise your color results.
- DO I NEED TO USE A DEVELOPER/ACTIVATOR TO MIX THE COLORS? No, Danger Jones Semi-Permanent colors are used straight out of the tube and applied directly to clean dry hair.
- HOW DO I USE “CLEAR”? You can use Clear in three ways: to add shine, to dilute, or to blend from a bright color into blonde ends. When using to dilute deeper colors, start with Clear and then slowly add in the deeper color to pastelize. Clear can also be used on its own to give shine and condition on all hair colors and textures. When creating a color melt transition from a bright color into blonde ends, use Clear on the blonde ends to ensure a smooth transition.
